Would like to get into flybarless set up for a trex 500 wat would guys suggest. I dont have the first clue and the price for these units ars not cheep. I would like to make a good first purchase.

Try out this thread....it's what I did....it's awesome, I absolutely love it....My 500 handles wind much better than my 600N....although I am now in the process of switching over all my helis.....just be careful, once you go flybarless...you won't go back, and you will want them all to fly like that.....

I just made an update to my trex 500 setup. It's very rock solid and nimble. The conversion is extremely simple. Stock settings of Vbar work great with it allowing for uneventful maiden flights. I put photos in my gallery and discussed it in the thread quoted above.
