I am a bit confused with the Raven CCPM. The manual shows that the three swash servos are to be at right angles to the push rods and set straight accross the servo. Is this at mid stick or at idle? What is the pitch suppose to be at this set up point?

Then can I set the curves up for full stick for normal flight only if I wish?

You'll need to first set-up @ "0" pitch mecahnically (mid stick), then use the radio to get what High pitch you want (High Stick)and what "low" pitch you want (Low Stick).

As Ray says, but first you must get the swash level a 50% or mid stick. Everything is set up there first and then the radio comes into play. You must get the swash level at 50% throttle and at that point everything is at 90deg on the servo arms. Try not to use any sub trims if you can get away with it.

If it doesn't fly sell it!

Oh, forgot to mention. Make sure that your ATVs are 100%. All trims set to 0 (zero)

You guys are a great help. This is the first ccpm I have ever dealt with . IT's a bit different that the Hawk I have. Let me get to work. I have the swash level, but I think the linkages may be a bit short as when I go to low idle and down on the elevator the swash hits the top of the frame. Almost like the whole swash needs to be raised. But let me set up the mid stick at o degrees as now it is like 5. Also I am using the 9C Fuataba that has a AFS to adjust all the servo throws at one time. I may have to work with it to get my swash from hitting the frame. I'll let you know how it goes.

heres a tip for the swash height

measure the space in the anti-rotation to find the center and line up the swash pin at that mark.

also at full negative full forward elevator AND at full positive full back elevator the space between the pin and anti-rotation should be the same top and bottom and should not bind the servos.

if you do this I guarantee the swash will be exactly centered

I don't know it all but I know my RAVEN30
