Are the 25 gram SAB paddles that come standard in the kit attached to the flybar in a special way. They seem to be made for a 4mm flybar. I slipped them on and they go over the threads and butt up against the flybar shank. If I tighten the set screw it drives into the flybar threads. Is this correct? Rich

No the stock paddles are for a 5mm flybar. You should be able to screw the paddles onto the flybar for 10 turns or more. This will position the set screw over the shank part of the flybar.

Thanks again Chuckie. That's what I thought. Is Todd the person to get a replacement? Rich

Never mind. I applied a little more inward pressure and they do fit nicely. I'm so used to parts that are sloppy, need to rethread, beat into submission, or simply find another.

I bought a pair and had to drill out some ov the glue they used to put them together. The glue was in the metal part of the paddle. I was careful and drill it out slowly and ran a tap down the 5mm hole. then put it on the scale and checked the weight with the other new one and it was perfect.

I think it was glue on the threds, because with some more pressure it threded on like a lot of thread-lock was in the barrel.
