I was installing a feathering shaft today. Opened the pack and noticed "dampener spacers" brass tube with flange. Now I hate to admit it but I have bent alot of feathering shafts. This spacer is new to me. Can someond fill me in on it? How to install it. (hawk Sport)

so this is for a Hawk Pro you are talking about ???

the Dampeners are made for the 6mm flybar,,, so Century made these "brass tube with flange" for the 5mm flybar,,,

you put the Brass Bushings in the Dampeners before you mount the Dampener in the Rotor block (flange out), then once the dampeners are mounted in the Rotor Block slide in the 5mm spindle,, make sure you use a good non-Petroleum Grease to lube the Dampers as you mount the Dampener in the Rotor Block and as you install the Bushings in the Dampeners !! (I use Spark Plug Boot Grease on my Dampeners"

NOTE,,,
I would think with using the Brass Bushing you don't need to use a washer between the Bushing and Grip Bearings, but you better ask someone else because I have not used this setup !!

Not sure of the Hawk Sport! But the Hawk Pro has rubber damper followed by damper spacer set which includes a washer and then a brass insert then the bearing followed by a 5x10 washer then the main blade grip. Page 12 of the Hawk Pro Manual. If you don't use the washer after the damper and before the brass insert the brass insert can and will slip into the damper and cause catastrophic failure. There is no washer after the brass insert but 1 before.

If it doesn't fly sell it!

Yes, basically you put in the brass spacer inside a washer and then insert into the dampers, there doesnt need to be a washer between it and the blade grip though...
