it has a 7in screen, 4gb hard drive and windows xp installed, which only leaves 1.25gb left but still can put more programs in it. the wireless internet works really nice and has built in camera too.

if you need more space you can use the sd card slot built in also.

just thought i'd pass this on....

How often are you programming your V-bar? Once I got mine setup (thanks to you) I never even think about bringing the computer with me.

Can you see the screen outside? My laptop screen requires me to cover my head and the screen with a large towel to use it outside...

This should be out fairly soon!!

The days of carrying an expensive laptop to the flying field are over, the new V-Bar Control Panel is the easiest and most practical way of programming the V-Bar. The V-Bar Control Panel is connected directly to the V-Bar via cable and allows you to program the V-Bar with necessary data such as initial set-up and parameter adjustment right at the flying field. The panel features an ergonomically correct turning knob and push button which have been integrated for easy operation, an SD card for loading model data or updating set-up software, and a high-contrast display which is readable even in bright sunlight. The SD card can also be used to transfer model data to another pilot’s helicopter.

Easy-to-use set-up software
High-contrast graphics display
Easy handling via turning knob and push button Loading and saving of model set-ups via SD card
Updates via SD card

I would say that little computer at $350 is a whole lot more useful than a $250 V-Bar Bluetooth adapter. I bet the percentage of V-Bar owners who have a phone or PDA with Bluetooth that can run the software is pretty small.

hmm

Yea I cannot see 350 laptop or 250 adapter with a large group voting for adapters..

I like the 542 eee laptop. Solid state is nice.
