Century Hawk - Falcon - Raven - Predator > Changing Pred elevator lever bearings?

Does anyone have a trick for swapping out the elevator lever bearings on the Pred? Mine are notchy, and looking at it, the only way I see is to split the frames, which I REALLY don't want to do. Anyone know any trick to do it without hours of work splitting the frames?

I'd like to know the answer to this one too. Otherwise, splitting of the frame is the only solution in removing this bearing.

You *might* be able to just remove the frame spacers from the rear part of the uppper frame stack, loosen the front screws and spread the frames enough to get the elevator arm out but I really don't see how you could get them out without unbolting the upper frame stack.

I hope you didn't CA them in like I did mine (per the build "instructions" ) . Mine are a little notchy also, probably got a speck of CA in them. They are going to be in there for a while. Perhaps some CA de-bonder may be able to get them out without breaking the carbon.

...yep...

I may tackle it today, my gasser has been down for a servo change for about a week, and while putting it back together I discovered the notchy bearing. I'm not worried about getting the bearing out once the center post is out, the CA doesn't really bond with the bearing, so ther tend ot be easy to pop out without damage.

I cant wait to get my condor and Wish you guys would get the bugs worked out so as not to make my build difficult. I'm worthless and weak but will use any and all ideas to get ahead. By the way not to Hijack this thread but any good reports on the Condor? Ive been also looking at other Gasser's as well. Not really a money thing as much as a value for the dollar thing.

If it doesn't fly sell it!
