e-Electric General Discussion > Tail Servo Set-Up???

Hi all!

I have a question/dilemma... Got a DX6I, 401 gyro, DS3400G on tail.

Anyway, I have my travel adjusts to 100% (which can be made to 125% which doesnt make sense to me but whutever). Anywho, when I move my rudder stick left or right my servo follows me, like it should, however once I move my stick more thatn 3/4 of the way (either way) my servo stops moving, like my stick has exceeded the range of motion on my servo? Am i correct? How can I correct this so that when my servo is to its extents so is my stick. Thank you!

first.......when you give right rudder the servo should move TOWARDS the body of the heli....doesn't matter how its mounted....it should always move towards the body when giving right rudder

your concern with travel is the tail pitch slider NOT the servo.....you need to watch the slider and adjust the limit pot on the gyro so you have full travel and no binding

also...make sure your D/R are at 100% and...very important......the EPA/ATV DOES NOT AFFECT SERVO TRAVEL WHEN USING A GYRO....your ATV/EPA affects piro rate,....all limits/travel are adjusted using the limit pot.......if you have any more ? feel free to ask
