| Actually it does work and is the Reflex suggested workaround for installing on a Vista machine. You need an install that is already working on an XP machine. Just copy the entire C:\Program Files\REFLEX folder and all sub folders and put them in the same location on the Vista machine. If it requires more than one CD, so be it, just make sure all the files and folders are in the same location on that Vista machine that they were on the XP machine. Since the copy process from a CD will make the files read only, select the REFLEX folder and remove the read only flag. You don't need to run an install process on the Vista machine, just create a shortcut to REFLEX.exe and use it to launch Reflex XTR. I have done this process to help out my son-in-law, so I do know it will work. Hopefully, I didn't forget some detail. |
