| We are testing the SwitchGlo on a DX7 setup. Many of you will know that it doesn't give you full functionality including hot start proof when used as recommanded (on gyro channel).
Here is a method that will give you the full functionality.
1. Setup your throttle channel so it will have ATV at 100%-110%
(This will change when SG modify the trigger point so it will work with ATV at less than 100%).
2. Put Y-extension on Throttle channel(not gyro channel).
3. With luck (because some require servo reversing on throttle channel) it will beep when in normal at 1/4 stick or below and in T-H. If not, get a servo reverser for throttle channel. Hopefully SG will have a programmable setting so it will work in reverse mode without the servo reverser.
4. Because it triggers on throttle signal, no other programming is required and will NEVER fire in thorttle high or in idle-up EVEN with DX7.
5. If you happend to overrun the 10sec timer, just wiggle the throttle to 1/2 stick and drop to idle to retrigger the glow.
* with 10 sec shutoff, it still does not prevent "walk of shame" as it happend to us 3 times. SG will work on perpetual 10sec reset so it will continue to fire in 1/4 or lower on the throttle setting (in waling to flight line and in throttle hold)
