| The problem is this, When or if, (remember the swirling rumor) the sole US manufacturer of NM ceases production all together and the foriegn suppliers are then supplying the medical and agricultural needs in the US first (which yields much higher profits for them) the drag racers and the modelers will be left high and dry. As I posted earlier, right now everything is cool, we get to use the US manufacturers product, who also supplies the US med/Ag NM and the racers are using Chinese NM. The problem will arise if these small manufacturers overseas become the only supplier world wide. The US government by ways of homeland protection are making nitromethane usage very difficult in the states. The US manufacturer is a branch of a major chemical manufacturer and NM is by no means any huge share of their cash cow, so for them to keep dealing with pressure from the US government about the handling, manufacturing and distribution of just ONE of their products, it is not too far fetched to believe they may sacrifice a part of their income and dedicate that facility to manufacture something a little less restrictive in those buildings.
