Are the stock main grips adequate or do you need a conversion Kit like the TREX 600n does??? Beyond that all you need is the Vbar electronics which is about 600.00 right? Only thing that sucks is that I have a GY611 that isnt going to be used if I do this, Oh well, this hobby isn't cheap!!!!

Also, I saw the SK360 system seems to be a little less expensive and would allow me to use the 611 in conjuction with the system, anyone used this yet??

Check out the flybarless conversion that lowermx did to his Xtreme 50. He is currently fine tuning his set up. I know him personally and saw his flybarless X50 at the Mayday Funfly a couple of weekends ago. The way that he did the conversion is much better than using the stock main grip arms with a longer ball. Get in touch with Scott (aka lowermx) and he may be able to help you out.

Phil,

Is the new flybarless head going to have proper main grip arms on it? The best way to do the grip arms is like how lowermx did it. If you use the existing grip arms and then add a longer ball to it (as the most recent pictures on the RJX website show), then there is a possibility of the link popping off at extreme angles.
