Century Hawk - Falcon - Raven - Predator > Century Rototech Blades Vs. Radix/V Blades

My buddy (Centuryman) and mentor and I have been flying mainly Mavrikk G4 and 5's and have been considering changing blades to Rototech. We both fly mainly Century Birds so consequently have been thinking of changing to Century Blades. My question is, how are they. I will need blades for both a 30 and 50 size heli so if you could chime in on the 570 and 610 blades I would appreciate it.

Most people will tell you that they who have flown all 3, prefer either rotortechs, or radix. Rt's are most likely to win the vote. I flew Radix 710's on my pred, now i fly RT 710's, and wont look back. I tried a set of V 690s, and hated them! The RT's are a perfect blade...I have 600's, and the 560s...i love them all, so super smooth its amazing.
Heres a vid with the 600s in action.

And the 560s...

I have and still use both Radix and RotorTech brands. Buy what you can afford. You won't go wrong with either.

I've decided to do a little personal blade shoot out of sorts and have just received 2 sets of g5 pro wide cord 600's and 620's and 2 sets of radix 600's ,one set of alighn 600 lighted, and 1 set of rt 610's are on the way along with 1 set of gohbee 600's.
I didn't spring for any vblades yet, most people i've talked to seam to either not like them or don't think they're worth the extra ching.

I have 3 600 eletric helis i'm going to test them on.
Gohbee phazor 600 on 12s
century 620 se on 12s
and trex 600 on 12s.

last summer i had 710 V blades on my 90. i put approximatly 10 gallons through them, before i had enough of them and put my rotor techs abck on...the V's were my beater blades. there is absolutly no comparrison.

V Blades = Pitchy in fast forward flight
Poor auto performance
Power hogs (huge drag)

Rotor Techs = The best auto's you will ever get
Super stable in both high and low speeds
Very low drag, and very easy to maintain RPM

I also tried Radix on the same heli, and found them to be very similar to Rotor techs (both made by Funkey), but i only had one flight on them (borrowed from a friend), so i cant really give a true comparison.

Rototechs 610s are fast on cyclic, great blade for doing hard core 3D. But I didn't like them on Autos. The RT610's are lighter than the 600. I have heard the 600's auto better than the 610s.

Vblades 600s, the old ones before the TST's are great all around blades, not as fast on cyclic as the 610's but they auto better than the 610 and performance in FFF is better than the 610's.

G5 widecord blades, Great for stirring paint when you can not find a G4 blade. I'm about to get a PM. I always get a PM from the same person when I bash these blades, but. IMO they suck.

SAB330 600s, These are the blades I fly day in day out. I keep coming back to these. For my flying style light 3D and and lots of FFF. These are great. And they auto extremely well.

In summary, If you do more 3D than FFF, then RT610s all the way. If you do more FFF than 3D, then SABs. If you can find some old Vblades, you'll be happy, regardless of how you fly.

I have not tried the Radix blades.

Once again, this is just my opinion.

I'd rather be flying

It is funny how I have heard general negativity towards the VBlade TST's. For 115.00, you would think they would be better!

The RTs are very good, but I like the Radix too. IMHO they fly very similar, compared to V's. You will find either one to be much snappier and auto better than Mavvs.

RT610s auto well, but again different than Vs. They are a bit lighter but also less draggy, it just requires an adjustment of technique.

Vote smart, vote RP!

It doesn't matter haw you feel about Century helicopters good or bad.

IMHO The Rotortech blades are hands down the best blades you can fly.
