You can only fly one at a time. But.....

Something about having a whole fleet...

Plus a back-up for the back-up helps keep the puckerfactor down.

I like looking at the rooms the helis are stored in, Especially the 3rd post by QuantumPSI. Theater room equipped with projector, surround sound speaker, and kitchen pantry all rolled up in one!

If it doesn't fly sell it!

One raptor50 works for me. I prefer to be in the air on the field, not at home at the construction bench

And if your one Raptor is down you're not at the field at all.

I can really only afford one as a poor college student so I have my little Trex for sale. In a few years, I'll have a full hangar though.

Yes, minor issues like a blocked clutch become a pain. But I can be on the field only in the weekends so worst case I loose the sunday. That helps me to keep that one machine in top condition as there is no fallback.

This also keeps me flying safely, as crashing means not flying for a few weeks.

I have 5, two trex 600N and One JR vibe 50 + two mini titans.
maintenance is hard keeping all 5 flying.

Time for a change THE TREX'S ARE OUT. I need two JR vibe 50's and one 90, not sure which 90 it will be yet, still waiting for the release of the Aurora and trex 700.

3 is the magic number. a back-up for the back-up.

When I got a third heli at Christmas (surprise present - NOT)my wife asked me 'How many helicopters can you fly at one time?'

I had expected this. I replied 'How many pairs of shoes can you wear at one time?'

For the first time ever, she was speechless. You know how a goldfish does that gum flapping thing but no noise comes out?

So, I just bought another Raptor 50!

4 Raptors now. Little indoor heli is the next on the acquisition program!

Hee hee!

I have three and I'm missing time to fly them all. In the last year I have 800 flights, therefore my questions is when you have more than 3 helis how often to you go to your club to fly them all?

I wish I could fly 24/7

Laughingstill.

Sorry the 700 is last on my 90 list, above it is aurora, synergy, jr 90, Blitz avro then the Trex700

I dont like the trex 600 anymore after flying the vibe 50. The trex 700 is cheap, just waiting to see what problems it will have, and price for kit and parts etc.
The amount of money I have spent on keeping a trex in the air like 3 one way bearings in one year, two broken clutches, dampers, tail & upgrades etc. better off buying quality in the first place.

How many

This subject has been discussed countless times and I think it never gets old

Here's my belief...seeing as how most of us are completely insane about helicopters and are addicted to them like crack...you can never "REALLY" have too many....the bottom line is money...how many can you feasably afford to supprt?

If we all had endless budgets we'd probably have 50 or so

lately for me my focus has changed from Quantity to Quality...

I'd rather own fewer "NICE" machines than a bunch of POS machines...

just my opinion though...

right now ...my magic number is 10...

here's 4 of my favorites though

You have too many heli's if you have to eat PBJ's for lunch so you can pay for crash parts.

Haha, thanks Dilbeck! It's the ultimate setup for a dorm room. I loved every bit of it and in just a few weeks, I'll be graduating! If money wasn't so tight, I'd buy myself another machine for a graduation gift!
