Revolution helis...

I have to say that the Reolution is for me one of the COOLEST looking helis I have EVER seen...It has been on my "short list" for quite some time now and yet I still have not gotten one...I recently decided to buy one and when I attempted to contact the US distributors they were very uncooperative so I decided NOT to buy one..

Eventually I will cave in and just get one though...after all..they really aren't all that expensive in comparison to some of the other "exotics " out there...Shoot...my Roxxters are more expensive than these Revolutions so it's definitely worth a try..

This is a BAD AS$ looking heli though

That canopy makes my pants tight. But is it just me or does that style landing gear just not look right. Think I'd have to put a "conventional" gear on it.

The helicopter is a machine trying to commit suicide, our job is convincing her to fly...

Landing gear ..

I think it looks very cool myself...but I'm sure it's not very durable...it looks similar to the landing gear on my 3dmpe...must be a German thing

Guess.
I assumed the question was in regards to the Nitro version. He's right- the shroud is not depicted on their site photos.
However, I could have sworn that they used a strip of CF to surround the fan.

There is a fan shroud on the Revolution 90 Nitro. If you look at the pics again, you will see that the fan sits above the pinion and clutch bell. This brings the engine up higher for better CG. The fan shroud on the current version is made of carbon fiber. Here are some pics from the Heli-pro website.

This was definitely my favorite heli that I have owned. I wish that I would not have gotten rid of it. I will probably get another one in the future. Not only is it a unique design, it flies incredibly well. At less than 10 lbs. rtf, this heli is a rocket.

Jag, stop kidding yourself and buy one already. You know you want it. Aside from the Roxxster, this is one of the most unique and appealing helis out IMO.
