Yes, 12 proportional channels.
Actually the 12Z radio has 14 channels, 12 proportional and 2 on-off channels.

Compact Flash Card

Anybody try a genaric 32mb card? I'm going to try one. I found a Scandisk one online for $9 + Free shipping.

Batteries..........my camcorder ones look the same only 7.2 volts......hummmmmm.....

My sandisk 512mb works just fine. Don't feel like you have to special order a 32mb one.

It seems most of the compact flash cards work. One guy wrote that he took his 14MZ to radio shack and asked to try before he buys and they let him. All you need to do is put it in and make sure the radio boots up with it. Then you can transfer all of your files over. I put a 256 I had laying around in mine and honestly will never use 856 models. I know there are alot of flyers using it for music files (I actually just ordered a 1g one from ebay for $10).

I ended up using the "Line curve" and 5 points so it was closer to what I was used to on the 9c.
