| Yea, that's what I siad. Here's the deal. mold making is an expensive, time consuming operation. Unless your sure your going to sell a ton, and have cheap labor standing by to make the parts, its a not worth doing. With that being siad,the manufacturers can't seen to get it right. Even if they look good, the are not made well.
Its a problem........
When it come to designing the shape of the canopy, you need a designer(artist type) NOT a mechanical engineer.
In RC helis, they design the heli in Solid Works, cut parts and test fly, then, in a rush to get it out, the canopy becomes an after thought.
What they don't understand is that next to performance, looks is the most important feature.
Looks+Performance=sales.
I for one don't care how great it flies, if it doesnt look good on my coffee table, I won't buy it.
