| The pin comes out. But I'm not aware of a suitable replacement from Esky or anybody. I did some shopping today for another project and ended up with a spare Align AR pin. Its the one that also has the ELEV swash ball link and the threads are a direct match for the Esky head. The stock plastic AR stand wasn't wide enough so I Dremel'd it out, then sanded. I just got it installed and the thread lock is setting up. It won't be as servicable as the stock setup, but at least I won't be throwing away the swash.
By the way, the pin is aluminum. I also discovered that all of the ball ends in the CNC head are also aluminum. Note the B400 balls are stainless steel. I went threw the head and replaced as many balls as I could with the one from the B400 kit. I also converted the link from the blade grip to the control link to use the larger Align balls and ball links. I don't have the B400 balls with the built-in stand-off so I won't be able to do the ball in the swash until I go back to the LHS. But just replacing all the aluminum balls in the top removed more than half of the slop.
