Im thinking of going this route.
Has anyone tried this?
Im worried about the weight issue.
Im planning on just sport flying so
maybe this will work for me.
Cant beat the flight times!

I assume you mean the Scorpion HK2221-10. Yes, this is my preferred setup and I have a friend running this in a Beam as well. Lots of power, great flight times.

Weight is not really an issue with 18C 2100 packs.

Ive already got a 4s batt.
Also, Scorpion 6&8 turn motors are hard to find right now.
The 10 turn is readily avail.
What pinion are you using?

I checked into that battery and its pretty heavy. Over 9 oz.

Thats more than my 4s 2100 TP extreme.(7.8oz)
How does the heli fly with it?

5.5-6.0 minutes, around 3300 rpm.

well I decided to go with this setup.
Im using the TP prolite 2100 4cell (6.2oz.)
Only 1 oz. more than 3S batt.(not too bad

)
scorp. 35A ESC
Scorp.-10 motor
11T pinion
HS is about 2900
Flight times are about 6-7 min.
I actually got 11 min. flight once.(mostly hovering)
power is incredible!
Im very happy with this setup.
