ChopperCrazy, here is a short flying video. Quality isn't great as it transpired the backlight option was turned on on the camera. You can at least see it is the 4 bladed head I'm running. You can get some idea of the stability and the occasional nose up tendency. My friend, the camera man, needs more training ;-)

I approached the loops as I might with the stock 2 bladed head. On the first attempt there was a slight left yaw and roll tendency when I pulled out. On the second attempt I pulled +ve pitch too early. I just need to get more stick time with the 4 blades.

i was also wondering how you do the phasng, do you just do it like a normal setup? or do you do it a different way since the linkages are different?

The earlier video of the head will show you exactly the setup :-)

Note the main blade links are on the trailing side.

Pantera with 4 Blade Head

Thanks very much for the video, flying looks nice and smooth. I will be interested in seeing how the Pantera progresses.

Doing my best to promote the Pantera 50 and helis in general in the UK last weekend. I took it to a local fly-in in Slough, West London, a few short miles from Heathrow airport and almost directly under the takeoff flight path!

No 3D, just some smooth flying with the 4 bladed head. Other heli enthusiasts were surprised at the stability and manoeuvreability. One guy was looking to buy a Raptor soon, but I may have convinced him the Pantera was a better bet.

You can find the odd picture on page 15 and 16 of this Slough club gallery. just look for the 4 blades

You will also find some Pantera pictures in this enthusiast's picture site. Spot the real Jumbo flying over.

The Hirobo Lama and Century Airwolf are also mine. I was the only heli flyer at the event
