I just setup Phoenix and I have some questions...

-Do I adjust settings in the radio or on the sim?

-Tried a funnel and the tail blew out everytime, what do I need to change in the setup to fix this???

- Create a new blank model memory in the TX set for HELI mode.

- Calibrate in Phoenix using Your Transmitter, following the instructions onscreen, making sure you dont have throttle-hold or idle-up activated.

- Select the DX7 profile using Your Controls.

As for tail blowout - its pretty accurate at the mo, but you can reduce the simulation > edit aircraft > tail rotor > tail fin area parameter to make it blow out harder

Not to hijack or anything but I too just got my copy of Phoenix and have a question that isn't too far off.

I also have the DX7.

Do you have to do the Controller Setup everytime you launch the program? Mine comes up everytime to setup the remote, even after I tell it I have the DX7.

Thanks!

No you should only need to do it the once - which menu appears everytime you start the program?

Regarding the calibrate every time issue, I seem to remeber this coming up a year ago or so. I cannot remember for sure, but I think it had to do with either a bad USB or a bad dongle. I thought it was the latter, and it needed to be replaced. Do a search on here for that problem before you go and replace it, but hopefully that will give you a starting point. Try e-mailing Phoenix and asking them, I'm sure they will help.

I dont think he means that he needs to calibrate every time, but that the calibrate menu is popping up on startup?
