JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > Vibe 50 Flybarless!

Just finished building my Vibe 50. After loving the T-rex 600N and Synergy N9 in V-bar flybarless thought I would give the Vibe a go.

Conversion was simple. Dropped on a Kasama Head and used same setup as the T-rex. Looks super sweet, and very stylish lines.

Quality is up on the Rex and overall it oozes quality and stunning looks.

Basic setup is:
Vibe 50,
Kasama Head (Flybarless),
Mikado V-bar,
Futaba 451/251,
Spektrum,
Trying the Redline 53 any hassle and a YS will find its way in.
MP5,
Rotortech 610 mains, Mah tails,
Quick uk fan and boom bracket,
Custom carbon front frame support for ease of installing all the electronics neatly.

Pics to follow tonight.

Will report on how she flys next! If the others are anyhting to go by it wont dissappoint!!

Kinda looks simple. I guess I like having all those links in the head. Just thinking that one of them might fail gives me a rush

Thanks for the positive response guys. It sure does look good, even better in front of you. Got the chance to test hover in the garden. No surprises, rock steady and all the bad reports on the engine don't seem warranted with this one it humms with factory setting and luke warm so a bit more to be had out of her over time.

Tech side:
I used 140 ccpm,
Vario 10mm Swashdriver,
Kasama Head,
T-rex flight settings in the V-bar and will tweek it from there,
Align servo wheels adjusted just like the t-rex about 20mm spacing.

I will get some air time and prob chop the mast down a little when I have more time but that can wait.

Head pics to follow.

Mikado swash should be just fine. For the 140 ccpm is dead easy, select the appropriate 120 swash then alter the two front ones to 50 and 130, they should be 140 degrees removed from the Elevator which sits at 270 degrees.

Vario part is 68/20

Could you guys explain me a few things (I'm a Vbar noob)

- mikado swash driver? Vario swash driver? Whats that?
- If you want to use the stock Vibe grips you're going to need to find an extension so the pitch ball links are centered relative to the mainshaft correct?

majicjohnson: Do you mind providing some additional pics with the blades unfolded? I'm trying to get used to the looks thx

this clamps down to the mainshaft and keep the swash from rotating

yes needs to be centered and no -+ delta and at least 31mm out from center of spindle or you get way to much collective pitch

HI Ink, those numbers are correct. I haven't saved the file yet. When I get chance later I will hook it up save and send.

I will also take the canopy off to take some more detailed pics of the installation.
