Has anyone heard of 550 plastic blade grip failures with 600mm blades?

Century can you tell me if it is safe to use the swift 550 plastic grips with 600mm main blades?

Get a grip

Maybe you could try installing a Raven head on your swift

It might use a smaller spindle but the grips are way better from the sounds of it
