I know we have all had these moments, just figured it would be fun to share!!

That moment when you realize you have done something completely stupid and look around to see if anyone was watching??

I was at the field the other day, flying my Rex-450. The late day had no wind!! I decided to take a new plank out for its maiden.

Its a new e-flight tribute, full fuse great looking plane.

I flew and trimmed her perfectly, Landed and when I went to taxi back I added a bit too much throttle, she jumped towards me the wingtip hit my leg and the tribute quickly became 2 pieces!! I had split the fuse right in half!!!!

As I turn to look the guys are looking back trying to hold in the giggles.

When good planes go bad was one comment,

I know I am not the only one this has happened to!!!!

Lets have it!!

A while back i was pretty impatient...
I crash my raptor 50 and put it back together pretty quickly...
Took it out for the first flight a week later and everyone was there, i took off and piled it straight into the ground sideways...
Everyone asked and I had the aileron reversed

So back home, the next weekend i'm back out, new blades, spindals and all...
take her out... spool up and quickly realise somethings reversed...
I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY should have shut off the engine and reversed the throttle or even have had throttle hold on because i flicked through, revesed *the* channel (and this was on futaba which i had been for years so knew the channels pretty well) but then boom.

Throttle wide open, I think it was the pitch or something still reversed and the heli jumps into the air and at the time the combination of reversed throttle and another channel made flying it virtually impossible, it ended in a pile about 2 feet next to the last crash...

Luckily 2 people were occupied with someone elses heli but everyone else saw it and yep...
you guessed it...

Many many comments about that lol.

Its a shame i got so complacient with my setup but I have always been paranoid and always put the heli far out before take off and asside thoes little *mis haps* I'v always been quiet big on safety...

Never really had any problems like that before or after that though heh.

Just goes to show... sometimes blond moments can last for than just a few heh.

I was test flying my Blade CP Pro after installing some new blades, and the G90 gyro.

Spooled it up in my cul-de-sac, lifted off, everything good to go. At this point my neighbors watched from their garages nearby.

Wind picked up... heli flew back... crashed right into my right shoulder. No damage to me... but at the time i had no idea anyone was watching. I was just trimming it in after the changes. I was so busy with trying to keep the tail straight i missed the chance to correct the rest of the movement.

New blades, tail blades, boom, main shaft, feathering shaft, main gear, and a blade holder.

No bruises/cuts/scrapes. Thanks to the heli gods for that. But my pride was a bit hurt after the laughter errupted from the neighbors :-(

Oh yes, the old eflights.....

I put a blade CP in, on our cul de sac, with several neighbors watching.....had training gear on, and wooden blades, what a spectacle, flying ping pong balls and wood all over, quite impressive for only a few bucks of damage.......
