I have never done it myself Randy but it seems to me it would be rather easy. If you remove the back of the transmitter and unscrew the complete gimbal assemblies as a unit and switch their positions , I don't see why it wouldn't work.(leave all the wire connections connected, don't unsolder anything.)

inside the back of the tx are 4 tiny dip switches....these you have to set to get the sticks to control what mode you are trying to get......I'm going over my buddy's house later(the one who's tx I switched).I can see what settings the switches need to be,I did it by trial and error till I got the correct functions ....you also have to switch the gimbals if you want the throttle to have the proper ratchet

let me know if you have any questions...I'll post later with the proper settings for the switches......its not as hard as it looks....just take your time and go slow

Hi again..thanks for the reply..I think I could manage as long as there is no soldering requiredwill await the details from you.. does the company not make any mode2 sets btw? Thanks again.

The company DOES make mode 2. You might find one cheap on Ebay- but even cheaper than that is take Fenders advice on converting the radio you have or are going to get. You could also get a fully programable transmitter and set it up the way you want it.

alright...sorry about the delay..........there are 2 dip switches in the back not 4....each has 2 positions so there are 4 possibilities(4 modes)......I have it set to....#1 off #2 ON.......this should give you mode 2...then you will have to switch gimbals so the throttle doesn't have a return to neutral spring on it

I told my buddy to call me when he was ordering but he went ahead and ordered without me and got mode 1.......I had no idea....so I looked the heli over charged the batt and went to spool up....I was like WTF is THIS......so I told him and he was like "cant you hover it for me so I can see if it hovers"......there is no way I was flying his heli like that...so I figured out how to switch it.....post with any ?????????

Hi again.

Thanks for the help. I tried doing it last night, first switched the "left-right" according to the document (link you had pasted earlier). I got 0 throttle at hi-stick position, undid the change.

Then started trying moving around the switches as you had previously mentioned. This time it had worked. Took out the spring (and the lever) from behind the gimbal and stuck it on the other side (dont think I had to switch the complete thing).

Thanks again.
