Yep, didn't you know that AvantRC has different definitions than the general public for terms such as "Soon", "Release", "now shipping", "Production"?

What gets me is, how can anybody call this thing a high quality heli?

Anybody found a dirt cheap Raptor even the V1 versions have holes missing or mis-drilled?
What's better let's say to a MA heli with Cf frame? They use higher quality CF?
Ever seen a whole production run of MA's having their frame inserts missing?
The open type tail gear box? MA and others have been using them in production for years.

The head? Maybe, but it's been in use for a long time by Avant helies, so nothing new.

The prize ? Not anymore,it's cheaper by stuff all compared to an MA.

So, what is it? The Canopy???

Don't care long time now what Avant RC and Aurora are doing but my question is this.

Let's suppose the heli is finaly realised (in reality, not with big announcements from Augusto and all these shows we are living now) do you trust that these people will be able to support you with spare parts?

And I am not talking after let's say one month but after 2-3 years.

Two three days ago I was reading in MA thread that someone had a 90's MA model (one with wooden servo tray!!!!) and he was still able to find spare parts for it!

So honestly cannot understand why is this rash to get this heli when it is produced and supported from people working that "monkey" way.

Agreed. Perhaps it will be, but as of now all evidence points
to the contrary

Quality control is one thing, but......

How do you notice that a part in a box during the shipping process is missing....? X-ray vision?

I wish you guys, who are out of $1,000 well. Although I hope you get it back, I have to ask..... "Can you say Chapter 11"... or is it Chapter 7. Nothing like being listed as a creditor.

Happy dreams.

For all of you guys who don't know what is going on.

The question is....... Is Avant a BAD seller? BUYER BE WARE

I'd rather be flying

You don't. The "All boxed up and being packed on pallets for immediate shipment" was obviously another lie by Augusto. I can't believe that I was thinking about buying one when it was offered to me a few days ago. All of this trouble is self created. If you don't have a product, don't announce it. If you don't have something packed and shipping don't make a huge ad and say that you do and have your reps wave the pom-poms and come and bash everyone who doubts you. Obviously, any sane person would doubt Avant, they never do anything to cut down on the criticism, they just keep adding more fuel to the fire.

The Dali Lama

and all the patience he could muster would be orders of magnitude less than the patience for persistent, repetetive and obvious ponzi
schemes from this Augusto character, hoping it just is not so by the die hard would be customers who acted in good faith...

Just how surreal has it become, when you have posts of shipping
pallets, and no product delivered?

Unbelievable, an X files heli...

Haven't been on in a while, interesting to see not much has changed here, and the seeds are being sewn to maintain this thread even after hundreds of the heli are in the air..

Imagine how many years...

sales

parts

service

etc..

endless moaning and griping...

Imagine if the parts and after sales service is as good as all the
prior...

10 foot pole is what I have always thought about the Aurora but I would gladly buy some carbon frames for my MA's from CE.
