I was told by my sources, that the AURORA's parts were kept hostage by the vendors.,. This is not his fault. I think we need to do something to resolve the situation. Why don't we raise the funding and help him ?

Here's an example of why we need the "Just Say No To Drugs" campaign.

Because he owes them money before they will release them. And you guys are funding him with the pre-orders and the Full Billing on credit cards that are going through as we speak. A few more transactions and he'll have enough money to pay for his parts. Then it will be released.

With this whole ordeal, it is not looking good for future parts. Hope you guys NEVER crash!!!

Quick...here comes my wife....hide that new Heli !!!!

doesnt carbon extreme make their own frames???

Seems like a rather large screw up....especially if they are made in house.

I thought Augusto was building the perfect heli????

so much for that!!!!

Guys,
making a helicopter is a lot different from just making the frames. This is manufacturing technics and system we are talking about.

That's why, I have mentioned in many occasions before, that probably AVANT FX and EFX is the best, considering many parts are made by HIROBO combined by Augusto's brillian innovation.

Just a plain customer here, and am amazed with all this craze about the Aurora and Augusto. Must be from those "investors" participating in the funding scheme

Moral of the story is..... don't buy vaporware, don't be betta tester either unless you really love tinkering with the product, at your own cost

I THINK WE ALL SMELL FOWL PLAY

here is a scenario for ya, maybe augusto put the word out to all the potential distributors for the aurora knowing perfectly well that everyones credit card would be debited in order to expedite shipping and not to make anyone wait any longer as any good hobby shop would as a courtesy to its customers. this way, this is just something to think about, maybe augusto knows the aurora will not preface the realease of the trex 700 and this is just a way to insure that all of you who so trustingly gave you card # and preorder will now be locked in and he will have that money guaranteed to him just so that he can repay his investors even if he has to fold soon after the release, i think its kind of like holding peoples money hostage cuz now most folks arent gonna just have another 8 or 9 hundred laying around to go with the 700 or anything else, for that matter. I would go out on a limb and say the trex 700 will be in the hands of non sponsored pilots before the aurora regardless of the BS that its been "released" and that statement he made in response to when people will actually have the ship being that cards are being debited,i mean really after all the testing and "getting it perfect" before the release and suddenly realize that gee, instead of putting a threaded insert we just drilled a hole and now we have to unpack every kit and make this correction seems highly unlikely and yet another dishonest ploy in the ever growing # of stories revolving around this issue. Its an insult to the intelligence of all the people who work hard for their money and have been so trusting and loyal to someone, to put it mildly, been less than candid and forthcoming with honest information.

Just waiting and waiting and waiting and keeee...ppp waiting in unlimited time. They inform to release soon, then they anounce to delay repeatedly. So what , so what , so what..... After Synergy released we keep waiting , after AVRO Blitz released we also keep waiting then after 700 N and maybe after several new models released we are also keep waiting and waiting ,waiting to the virtual heli to comes out and being done to be perfected.

The problem was a threaded insert that the person assembling the frame made. It is not the frame itself but a little threaded insert. Its easy to insert yourself. I did that for my Rotorworkz HFX frames. So the quality control problem is an assembly problem. That's just another glitch in the cluster f#%^ known as the Aurora release. I just hope that from now on Avant works their hardest to not slip up. With problem after problem, they can't afford to lose any more customers.

I saw a picture of a pallet with Aurora boxes on it. Maybe that was just the packing boxes ???

Sorry, I really don't have anything useful to add to this thread but have been following this story for a long long long time and I am amazed how long some have waited. It must be one hel* of a helicopter to be that patient and put money up front. Good luck guys, hope he starts shipping soon.
