| Was flying my 600n pro working on getting my flips a little more smooth, and about 20 feet up I was inverted and durring the transition back to a normal tail in hover I lost all reciever power ...So it piro flipped in full throttle(2000HS),thank god the blades wedged themself between the boom and the tail pushrod or I would of had to watch it rip itself to shreads....Anyways It was my own stupid fault,I was using a fromeco 2600 and the new align 2in1 and there was about 4 inches of spare wire between the 2 So I just left it hanging there,It shouldnt hurt anything,Right? WRONG...the weight of the deans swinging back and fourth on them caused the wires to fatigue and they snapped off right at the connector
This crash had the crazy potential of a re-kit but the damage was very reasonable(I know I was very lucky on the damage though)I could of had a normal crash and it would have been twice as bad..
Heres my 20th flights list:
Beautiful radix blades upper mixing arms mainshaft and berrings flybar metal grip berrings one 9451 servo gearset tail boom Tourqe tube front TT drive gears Boom supports landing gear clutch bell(including the berrings and liner) prabably the clutch 2
None of the links bent or snapped, and the canopy survived(which I was VERY suprised about) only damage was 2 little chips near the bellcranks..
Just another reminder to secure your connectors...at my expense But seriously it did suck lol sounded awsome though, kinda looked like Alan Szabo was behind the sticks with those piro-flips,they were perfect.. |
