e-Hirobo SRB Quark - Lepton - XRB Coaxial > Quark compared to CX2

If there is someone that owns a Quark and CX2 could you post a picture of the two side by side? I just wanted to see the size difference between the two. I'm thinking of getting rid of my CX2 and getting the Quark but want to hear from someone that's flown both of them and here the pros vs. cons. With the CX2 I'm getting a little bored with it and wondering if the Quark would be a good alternative. Thanks!

I have owned both the CX and CX2 and now have the Quark. The Quark is in it's own class when it comes to FP helis. The Quark is much smoother to fly and handles alot like a bigger heli. There are many more fine tuning adjustments on the Quark than the Blade CX2. The blades are made of foam and if you put clear duct tape on them they last a long time. I have over 20 flights with a few mishaps and still have on the same set of main blades. The only negative is the FM versus 2.4Ghz. I like the fact that I have a seperate transmitter dedicated to just the Quark and since everyone is going 2.4Ghz, there are lots of open channels.

Cheers

Blik...I think you've replied to some of my questions about the Quark before. Thanks! Do you think you can post some pictures of the Quark and CX2 side by side? I would just like to see the size difference between the two. Thanks again!

TERollins, I sold all my Blade CX's so will see if I can get one of my friends to bring their CX over for a picture or two.

Hi TERollins,

here are three pictures of my BladeCX2 vs. my SRB Quark. As you can see, I did some changes on my little Quark. To me, it looks quite better ...

Here is a link, where you can watch my BladeCX2 and also my little SRB Quark.

Here are some more pics of the Quark vs BladeCX. It is tough to see but the BladeCX is at least 2" higher than the Quark due to the Coaxial, counter-rotating blade rotor head design.

Cheers

rotorchristoph, where did you get that canopy/fuselage? I'm liking its looks. Too bad mine is still inoperable at the moment. I missed flying the little sucker.

Because I live in Germany I bought it here, originally built for the Pocket Zoom / EP100

Two weeks ago I flew with my quark in the garden:
