Are there any issues I should be aware of using a spectrum radio dx7 over or around water. A friend of mine told me that there have been some issues reported.
Can anyone help.

Thank you all

The resonant freq of water is 2.45ghz, so maybe, never tried it.

RappyTappy, Im out in left field and need some clarification on the resonance frequency of water and how it would affect the DX7!

If it doesn't fly sell it!

If there are any issues I have not noticed any. Me and 2 other members of the club I belong to have been float flying using DX7s and X9303s last year and we have not had any problems.

The water will have to come between the TX and the Heli to cause any problems. as for the freq on water, check the back of your Microwave, for it's operating frequency.

and you wonder why the 2.4 Ghz spectrum is an unlicensed band.
If it were, every house hold will have to obtain a radio license to operate their microwave oven

Also what happens when the relative humidity is high?

I love flying, it's how I get back on the ground that worries me

I would also avoid flying in heavy rain.

Your not gonna have a problem unless the heli goes under water.

Get a life? How the hell do you fly a life?
