I was....IMPRESSED!..by that vid

IT rocked! The takeoff was incredible LOL Yep. A great bit of heli-entertainment.
I kept waiting for the CIWS to open up on it hehe! (Assuming that type of ship has Phalanx or Goalkeeper Close-In Weapons System)

What's impressive too is he is flying with the sun in his face!

One of those waves could have easily snatched the heli out of the air while he was hovering just over the surface. And I'm sure it was windy seeing as they were out at sea! Not to mention he was on a moving ship!

wicked vid.

A few guys from ModelHeliServices here in Ireland did something onto that a few years back, don't have the full story but think they went out on an irish army/navy boat/ship (whatever) and the boyz had to shoot them down! (they managed to dent the boom in the end.) That the heli can been seen on display at some air shows (was at Galway air show 3-4 years back.

I smile, cause I've no idea what's going on.
