I see dick is being a dick again. GrantH your right I would of put him on ignore a while back but sometimes I just really want to see the babble he likes to spew now and then and show his ignorance. If he dont believe or want to believe in god thats fine thats his right but he is a dick (no pun intended) to belittle others that do.

I can partly identify with how you feel. Anyone with any sense of honesty who is a person of faith (or was) has struggled with that. You need to honestly seek God for the answers you need, but they may not come in the form you expect.

Its terrible that people are suffering anywhere, large scale or small (your/my neighbor or friend?). That it won't continue forever, and will end in a glorious revelation is the key.

What would the world be without the faithful in prayer and the One who intercedes for us doing so constantly? It would be much, much worse. That will be revealed as well.

I'm sorry, but there's not an easy answer. But yes, God has planned a solution.

Never, ever, ever, ever give up.

Who said God is "responsible" for the world? I know I never did.

I'm not sure you of your "concept" of who God is and what He does.

I would guess you would think God is a "fair" god and only does "fair" things. And, this storm would not be considered by you to be "fair".

God is not "fair" and I'm glad He isn't "fair".

If we all got what we deserved we'd be in big trouble.

Does this sound fair to you?

God sends his Son to be born on earth. He lives 33 years on earth and never does anything wrong. He never commits a single sin and at the end of His 33 years he falsely accused, has no trial and is sentenced to be crucified. He is beaten, mocked, has His flesh ripped to shreads with a cat of nine tails type devise,is nailed through the hands and feet on a wooden cross & is left to die. And, God allows all that to happen to provide those that choose to believe in Him with a way to Heaven.

Does that sound very fair?

God does not force anyone to do anything. This world is as it is because it is the way we choose to it be. He created it to be a lot different than the way it is today. Is that His fault? I don't think so. Is it our fault? I think so.
