Thank's Jim! Yeah after I get the kit I will revisit
the electronics/setup "issues"

Somebody like me needs a preset setup plan since I will
have a hard time diagnosing problems that seem to occur
so often.

Like i mentioned earlier, peoples experience with the heli
is growing by the day, all to my advantage

on one of the previous statements about this being a robust heli, this appears to be true, I had my first crash with it yesterday..
accidentily flipped idle up switch from idle2 to normal instead of idle2, went inverted about 10 ft of the deck and the heli planted in blades first, I needed a new flybar and a set of blades, I did change my spindle and main shaft but the crashed ones appeard to not bent at all.
I dont seem possible to crash so hard and only need a flybar and new blades
not even any of the linkages had even come off, rebuilt checked pitch flew today, did not even need to track the blades or alter any of my radio settings, gear not stripped and bairly a mark on the canopy, its amazeing.

I went and met up with some local guys finally.

There were 3 guys with a total of 6 helis, 5 of them were trex:s
of them 2 trex 500:s
So there it is, guys that can help with advise, setup
and being very familiar with the 500.

I'm having second thoughts now about a HDX but maybe they can
help me with one of those too.

I don't know if poeple tend to buy what their friends have?
Well we'll see

I choose the HDX because I like to be different, around here it is 90% align, and I have a gaui Hurricane 550 and now the HDX, yes the align out of the box does outperfrom the HDX, but the HDX flies very well, I have the SAH V2 and I would recomend upgrading to the metal tail, I have had problems with the tail and I feel the plastic is pretty week. I have tried 3 motors rom stock 890 to 1000 and 1200, and several packs from 4 s lipo , 5 and 6s A123, all work well I will probably end up with 5s A123 or 4s lipo, for the price the HDX is hard to beat! other then the plastic tail I have been very happy with quality. although after the first flight I did toss the landing gear, flybar and paddles for the align, huge improvement!
