My bathroom scale says 11.2 lbs. without the canopy.

I'll be painting the canopy yellow on the bottom, red on the top. Rattle-can spray paint, same as always.

Man, you need to step up and get a real paint job.

Do you clear coat it? If so do you use a spray can clear coat?

I use rattle-can (single part) polyurethane for a clear coat. It held up on my fury canopy for years.

I have a superstition against flying around a $200 paint job.

You and me both, seems like every time I painted a new canopy I would crash it the first flight. I flew my Avro without a canopy for the first two tanks.

My canopy is painted with can paint, but is cleared with Acrylic Urethane.

IT FLIES!

First start was a full throttle hot start. Throttle servo was reversed... Yeah... rookie move. Luckily I had someone ready to squeze the muffler closed and kill it quick.

Ok, those CY Super Stubz are way too fast for me. I have the weights about half way out on the flybar and it's not enough. I'm going to move them all the way out right now.

I'm using a pressurized tank system (OMI) and I saw some bubbles forming near the pressure feed intake. I need to take a look at getting that to seal better.

Other than that, it was all pretty and smooth.

Yeah, I hope to have the Fury running too. It's unrealistic to think that I'm going to be comfortable enough with this Avro to throw it around after just a few flights.

But thanks for the encouraging words.
