how is this heli compared to the others?
hows the quality of the parts and build?
hows the auto bearing?
how good is the tail gears holding out?

looking for a quick but very stable heli and would like to make it flybarless as well.

The build is great and the parts quality is second to none. The one way bearing is beefy. The aluminum parts are machined billeted, not cast. The tail is tight, no play at all.

I'm with Hulley, I'd love to see this flybarless.

I'd rather be flying

I'm considering buying a 2nd Vibe. The stock head looks very strong and I imagine wouldnt be too difficult to change to flybarless, the grips look very strong, almost mikado like.

Not sure if it is a good idea to get a vibe.

The rest of your fleet is going to suffer from it. You will look at your other birds and see what they really are... walmart bling.

Actually the original guy that spoke about walmart bling was Dave Yost. However I have to agree with him and I think he was able to resume the case perfectly with just two words

That’s funny for sure, but it is 100% true..

The funny part is that when you have nothing to compare from you feel proud of what you have….

Japan is Japan, I really feel proud of my Vibe!!

I will buy my second or third Vibe to compete on the 3D Nationals in my Country…
Tony can you push me with that pic???

Maybe this pic can also capture our Friend INK!!!!

Many Inky if I knew you were thinking about one I'd have let you do a pull on mine at MayDay and set the hook in you for sure.

It's a bit of a pain in the arse build (compared to a 600n) but the hardware is beautiful and it flies awesomely well. It's 3/4 of a pound heavier than my 600n identically equipped but I like the extra weight to plow through things like piro 8's and prio loops where the inerta that exta weight provides is a plus.

If you are a tic-toc ing madman, you need to get the weight down on it a bit.

Good luck,
Mark C.

Mark i was going to ask for a pull but never got around to it , been helping people all day long there....

i'll be at the space city katy tx. funfly next if your going maybe you can still set that hook in me.....

oh btw mine will have to be flybarless so mine may lose weight.....

Ink: I'm not saying the 600N sucks. It flies well and all and I was really in love with it just I was in love with my evo before that.

The truth is that the Vibe 50 has changed my position towards this hobby. Its probably the only bird I ever had (and I had my share of helis already) that puts a wide grins on my face no matter what I do with it. When I now look at my other helis, they look like cheap toys. Its hard to explain. Imagine having a rolex and a chinese timex ripp off watch. The feel is diferent. This doesn't mean that the $5 timex rip off doesn't read the correct time but its different.

Besides... 3 hours ago I got an email from a local store that is going to represent align only so they made a huge sale out for all JR items... 5€ any piece (thats $7). I think there is no need to tell you guys that I'm now the proud owner of 5 landing gears, 12 flybars, 4 sets of ccpm rods and links, one way assemblies, clutches, etc etc . All this for under $100

3Dx: Are you sure you don't want to buy another one?

If nothing else, it has to be the best looking 50 out there. I can't wait to get my hands on one to inspect it for myself. I say go for it Ink, from the looks of things you won't be dissapointed.
