| Raja's Jewel saved my A$$ this weekend. . .
After sitting in my shop all winter (and before), I finally got my PGasser out this weekend for some flying. I was I little rusty on procedures and the sticks but got the bird started and flew it around for a few minutes. I brought it in at one point and set it down to make an engine adjustment, then killed the engine via a switch on the radio. As soon as I did, I noticed I had absolutely no control and no power indication on the heli. A look under the hood surprised the hell out of me, as I realized I had completely forgotten to turn on the two battery pack switches!
This is the true testament to the jewel generator; to be able to fly absolutely un-affected without battery power. I would NOT recommend this test to anyone, because I nearly had to change my shorts after that little discovery.
Bottom line: Buy it, install it, use it. This is the best thing since the gas engine itself. Just my 2 cents. . .
