Makes you wonder what the price would be to reprint the backs of the servo containers...

Reguardless JR has one of the few servos that can run at these voltages and I am very happy with the preformance and durability of these servos...its one of the few things Chris and I couldnt break

I guess everyone using using unregulated 2S LiPo must be using JR/Spekrum radio gear. Last time I checked Futaba holding firm about limiting the RX voltage to 6V on FASST RXs.

What? There's something besides Spektrum? First I've heard of it.

Ace Dude , Eury,
You seem to be picking and choosing what to read so re read what Eco8gator said in full dont miss anything also I stated what I was told in the form of a question to see if there is another side to A123's I guess I should have asked Eco8gator, once again Carlo comes thru just like with the PROBAR

I dont know how to fly just how to not crash !!!!!

Hilarious. Jeff, maybe you are the one who should read. Eco8gator and I said the same thing. Why are you trying to turn this into a fight?

At any rate, sounds like we're all in agreement here, JR/Horizon says not to run the 8717s off unregulated 2s Lipos, but the Reps and many others do so without trouble. Shame they don't just say that they are OK, it seems like they are trying to cover themselves warranty wise.

I'm checking out of this thread before Jeff turns this into a full blown fight over nothing. I'm not sure why he is, but I'm sick of being called out by him, so I'm done.

Im using the following equipment on my T600N:

8717 on cyclc
BLS 251 on tail
Spartan Gyro
XPS Rx(no issues ever, knock on wood)
Specktrum step down
ATG Gove with 9650 servo

Its kind of a mixed bag of stuff.

My take on it is fly what your comfortable with. For me I find the 8v setup to the cyclic servos ideal...mainly because it just works. I do recommend that its best to do what the back cover says BUT in a few cases there are a few that can go above the rated spec and man these 8717 servos have impressed the heck out of me.
