| No intention to argue on your lhs is more trustworthy than mine or my lhs is more reliable than yours. Afterall, I have no experience in buying from indonesia.
Not that I have anything against indonesia or her hobby shops, but I really do hope that the avant distributor for singapore is not a hobby shop in indonesia. WHY? Simply because I would prefer a distributor that is physically located on the same island as me. Either that or no distro. If avion has a shop-front in singapore, I am perfectly fine with it. Perhaps you guys in indonesia might not understand this, but singapore is just a tiny island, even if you are located in the furthurest part of the island, you will never be more than 45mins drive away from any of the LHS. Not just 45mins drive away from one of the LHS, but 45mins drive away from ANY of the LHS on the island. What this means is that if we are already paying a premium price(read rip-off price) to the local distributor, we don't expect having to go through the hassle and cost of shipping.
Also, pardon me for saying this, but would you buy a $1000 item from a online shop you have never heard of? Or would you prefer to pay slightly more for shipping and get from a very popular/reputable online shop? Again, I have nothing against indonesia or avion hobby, but I guess caution should be exercised in such a chaotic time in the online world. |
