Guess from a guy who has no money, suddenly he had a good $500 to spend on a new plane, motor and servos (maybe even more).
Why is this a surprise to you? I am sure he has told his wife he doesn’t have the money to fix the dishwasher so she will have to do the dishes by hand or something of that nature. I hate to tell you that I actually witnessed a guy bragging about doing just that at the field.
