Engines Plugs Mufflers Fuel > What pipe works best with the TT 53

Its ok with the align pipe, easily as much power as the hyper. But the hatori 523 brings the power in earlier than the align or mp5 so you can run a lower heaqdspeed and still make great power.

Hi baddraptor,

so you mean the Mp5 and the Hatoi 523 makes the same power? I would like to buy the Mp5 because it looks in my opinion much nicer than a Hatori...

Just standing on the sideline here, but the Hatori 523 is made specifically for the TT53 unlike the other pipes. In theory it should be the better pipe to go with.

Alican, the MP5 likes a higher head speed 2050 and up, prefers 2100. I am running the Hatori at 2000 and 2050, it pulls 12deg like a freight train.

As far as looks go, the MP5 is shinier out of the box, but I have a polishing wheel if I want shiney...

Helikraft. It is not a hatori usa pipe, so you wont get a warranty here.

Do all hatori pipes make power at lower RPM's or is this one just different? I fly 3D pretty strong but i'm not a HS maniac. Would one of the other pipes work well for this task? Just tried helikraft, when i add to cart it says sold out.

For the most part, Yes. The hatoris I have tried do run stronger at lower headspeeds. On my trex I am running 1950 in idle 1 and 2050 in idle 2. Its poppier at the higher headspeed but climbs for days in idle1 and still has enough power to slam into tic tocs. With the MP5 to get the same power I was over 2100 on the head.

And on the TT53 I have tried every available pipe.

smooth

The Smooth pipe I have been testing it for some time now. It really opened up the power band for me I never falls off the pipe and suits my flying style which is big the 3d version will give you more punch in the mid where the smooth just makes power every where Dino

Anyone used a MP2? I have an align pipe at the moment which apparently aint so good so if the mp2 is better would save me buying another pipe for it.

I used the MP2 with great success. It's a bit harder to tune than the MP5 as it seems to have a narrower 'sweet spot' but it does produce the power!

I am running the Zimmerman 2615 and it is super quiet and runs absolutely perfect.

I personally felt that the Align pipe produced more power than the MP5 and that the MP5 was the hardest to tune out of the 3 I tried.

I stuck with the zimmerman, which does produce just a little less power (hardly noticable), but it is night and day quieter than any of the others.

Not just a little quieter...I mean Honda CRF450R Dirtbike Loud to 80CC Moped quiter.

Oh, IMO, the zimmerman looks a million times better than any of the rest as well. But, that's just my opinion of course.

Don't overlook the hatori Sab-50TT! Easy to tune and definatly quieter than the align. Loads of low end torque. I have six flights on this combo and i'm real happy with it. I found mine at readyheli

I went from the stock RJX pipe to the Align pipe, and let me tell you the RJX pipe makes MUCH more power than the align one.

NO SOUP FOR YOU!!
