Since I am no longer competing in FAI, I have decided to sell of 1 of my 4 FAI machines that I used at the 2005 World Championships in Zamora, Spain.
The model up for sale is a highly modified JR Vigor/Vibe. The model is equipped with a special, self designed and built "Stingray" fuselage, complete with custom built retractable landing skid system.
The model is equipped with:
Modified YS91 ST2 Engine
Custom Zimmerman Exhaust
3 JR DS8311 servos with 8317 speed up gears for cyclic
JR DS8700G Tail Servo with JR 7000T Gyro
Model Avionics Rev Max Rev limiter
JR R945 DC Receiver with RVO1010 Whip antenna
JR 791 Retract servo
Custom weighted RotorTech 720mm Main Blades
Duralite Battery system and regulator (no charger)
The rotor head, and many other items on this model are highly modified specifically for FAI/F3C style flying.
This specific model was one of 4 (and only) identical models that were prepared for the 2005 World Championships in Zamora, Spain.
This model has not been flown since 2005 in Spain.
This model, although flyable, is better suited for the collector or ocasional flyer, rather than daily practice and competition as a large majority of its components cannot be replaced due to its custom built nature.
There are lots of top "F3C Secrets" in this model, more than I can probably remember at this point.
This model is offered in "As Is" condition for the asking price of $3000.00. Reasonable offers considered.
Shipping is not included in the selling price.
Model can be delivered to the 2008 XFC or IRCHA Jamboree at No Charge.
Transmitter (PCM10X) is not included, but is avaliable complete with program for this model at an additonal cost of $500.
