I can grant you one more. As long as the world cannot agree that diplomacy is the way to go, then bombing the **** out of the might be the "best" alternative for those not being bombed.

If you hadn't provided the Taliban with what they needed during the Russian occupation, I'm pretty sure they would have been much easier to talk reason to now.....without food and guns they would probably not have been able to keep such a grip on the Afghan population. If we at the same time had provided for the rest, then recruitment would have diminshed.....instead we provide guns and slap'm in the face to piss them off....
