| Well my cypher 3d build was going really smoothly until I was having trouble with my pitch. I set the pitch in the swash mixing menu to a number that is less then 60% so I could achieve 11-/+. Every time I check the pitch at the highest point, it would read 11 or 10.5 it keeps changing, the servos don't fluctuate so im assuming I don't know how to properly use the pitch gauge correctly. I have the align micro pitch gauge. And I make sure the seesaw thing is leveled and I put the pitch gauge ad close as I can to the head. Then I look really really really close to make sure its completely leveled to the fly bar.
Heres how I set up my heli. Did I do something wrong or skip a step?
1. I centered servos in idle up 2 with 50% pitch curve at mid stick. Also had zero trim and zero sub trim. The servos were centered perfectly, had to use a little sub trim to get it leveled.
2. leveled the swash plate using the T-rex swash leveling tool (t-rex main shaft and the shaft of the cypher are the same width). I had a little bit of problem with this. I would level the swash to almost perfect level at mid stick. Then I moved the swash up wards to see if my swash was still leveled. The pitch servo was lagging behind abit. So I would I leveled it on high pitch. Then when I went low the same problem happened so I choose a level that was close enough. It wasn't major it was just a little bit off.
3.I set up the max pitch range by going to the swash mixing menu and increasing the pitch function to 100%. I moved the stick its lowest position and it still had room to go, i pushed it all the way up and it was binding. I lowered all the three cyclic links down a bit and lowered the pitch function in the mixing menu. I finally got it to a point where the swash was just touching the pins at high stick and where the swash just touch the bearing block.
4. I leveled the lower mixing arms and the uppers and leveled the paddles
5. I switched the transmitter to idle up 2 with 50% or 0 deggres at mid stick. I used the pitch gauge to have the pitch at mid stick at 0 deggres.
