If you regularly use 1010 with 210, one component that is not designed for flexing will go. That is the data cable that connect the two. Because the connectors are designed for the internal(inside of equipment) use, using it with battery, straining the wires and such will were it out near the crimp point.

It is a good idea to buy this $5 item as a spare when you get the repair done.

You can always call them. In my experience, it took a few hours to a day to get a response to the online form, a call was instant.

they say it should go out today, I sent it in two weeks ago it is about time. looks like I will end up being out 3 weeks

when I shipped it I included a ups tracking number also as they requested but I dont know why they wanted it or why they have held the charger so long just to tell me today that they are just replacing it.

There was a warehouse fire which temporarily split up the sales and factory group in half. The communication between them is chaotic as they are in temporary offices. But it will get better.

No point in speculating. It could be any of the 1000 causes. Important thing is that they are doing everything they can to get your stuff repaired/replaced and return them back to you.
