At one time I had heard that the engine is a nightmare to tune and get the thing to fly well. Thought thats why they stopped selling them.

Yes, even 5% nitro is a no go. I used FAI fuel (0%). The heli is incredibly powerful even with the recommended 1500 headspeed. It felt weightless in the air. I remember getting whiplash on a fly-by and if I had the guts I would have raced it.
