"Propo" That stands for "Proportional". Original Remotes had little or no proportional travel. It was all or nothing no matter how much stick movement you made. Like the original "OLD" Radio Shack Red 3-Wheeler ATC 20 years ago. (I think everybody had one of those once) No matter how much you moved the stick it would just max out the travel for the steering.

Propo was the Japanese slang for Digital Proportional.
Before that we had reeds, escapments, galloping ghost (both steady and galloping ghost) and analog proportional.
