Come on guys, it's time to let the past go. I was a huge supporter in the beginning and a huge basher in the end. Now that all the drama is over, it's time to just let it go. If you are like me, and deep down you always wanted an Aurora, now you can get one. If you are just done, and refuse to buy into the Aurora, then that's OK also.

The bottom line, those of you that still feel betrayed or angered, bashing all over the Avant forum just simply makes everybody look down right stupid and immature.

Remember this is just a hobby. We are not in competition with each other here. I'm sure most of the people feel just like myself and can say they have honestly never met a fellow heli enthusiast they did not like. I know for fact, I have made friends from being involved in this hobby that I will have for life.

It's all about learning, having FUN, and sharing the passion we have for these amazing machines.

I agree, I'm not going to say anything anymore. Anything that possibly can be said is just being repetitive. If anyone wanted to know my stance all they need to do is search, my stance on it won't change.

Everyone who's getting one, have fun with it and I wouldn't hold it against anyone who waited this long for it. It's all about personal choice anyways.

Thanks guys, I really hope the bashing can die down and we can all start talking helis in this section of the forum. The Avant is on my list and I have a lot of questions, but I don't even feel comfortable posting in this forum because you have to battle the haters just to find some simple answers

Lets all just be happy we have so many options to choose from

Agree
Let's see this heli getting out in the hands of the average Joe Blow.
In 3~4 months we should all know where we stand with the product.

More quality helies on the market is always welcome, it's a win win situation for us the Customers.

Oh well

I guess you're right.

Maybe I'll get an Aurora myself for the 2009 season if reports are good and parts supply constant. Still chewing on this but won't post about it anymore

Tony

What bashing?

Fact:
Nobody has got one yet.

Exactly how do you read bashing into this?
I think that you might be a bit paranoid.
You seem to read a hell of a lot more out of 2 very short sentences then there is actually there.

Fr8brkr copied from the other thread... Hmmm weren't you bitching about people invading your (Aurora) threads and stirring the hate?
Quote
A Porsche "aurora" , A Chevy "700N" -- hmmmm, I wonder which I would rather have?

Apparently you cannot live by your own words? Aww thats right only when it is to your benefit..
STFU you simple DA

LOL let the hate continue fanboy, seems if you dont want any hate and discontent you oughta just sign the hell off.

if the price is competitive, and the parts are plentiful you bet it will be all over the place.. It is a sexy looking machine. There are a lot of butt hurt people out there that are soured from waiting for it but Heli pilots are a fickle bunch.. We change helis like moms change diapers on babies.. My only concern is parts availability, and price.. I have been around all the 90's the aurora, the rex, etc.. They fly like any other. the true key is price and availability. Could have one in my fleet someday due to those two things.. I was an early adopter of the 600 because of those factors.

Mr. Rick / Wa11banger,
I am honored you took the liberty of posting my quote from the 700 forum.
Just curious, did I mention anything about the Align corporation lying or deceiving the general public or stealing the "thunder" from a competitor by announcing a release prematurely. These are the type of slurs that were aimed at Aurora and its manufacturer. And if you were to look in that forum I posted in there were other "pro" Align postings talking about the Aurora as well. I will be sure to follow you around in the various forums and take liberty to quote you in the future. I'm looking forward to the opportunity.
