Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Synergy VS Aurora - I Can't Decide!

OK.. I have been wanting a synergy for a while.. need a 90 nitro bad.
Should I stick with the Synergy or get the Aurora?

I know this is the Synery section (so answers may be a little biased) And I may be asking this question here because a part of me really wants a synergy..

What is everyone going to do? Synergy or Aurora?

The decision is KILLING me.

Also what is the most recent version of the N9? isn't there an SE version?

HELP.. someone help me make a decision!

List some pros and cons..

i have a couple of synergys and love them but they do have niggles that are well documented. there is an SE version due out but when i'm not entirely sure.

as for the aurora, i guess time will tell with that one but my own view is, i had one on pre order 2 years ago and it's been lies lies and more lies since then. i for one will never buy an aurora but there is obviously a market for it as it is a nice looking heli without doubt.

one last thing, the trex 700 is due out in next 2 months so it might be worth waiting?

whatever you choose you won't regret it i'm sure.

cheers

WELL, unless you have a pre-order you won't see an Aurora for a couple months. I got my Synergy a month ago and have NO regrets about the decision. It is BAD AZZ. I personally need to see a huge improvement in Avants CS to even think about owning one.

I'm looking at the flybarless Synergy SE. Too many good helis on the market. But I want to play with the v-bar.

This is how I would look at it... The Synergy has been out for awhile with lots of people flying them and parts support is good. As for the Aurora, I would be very apprehensive about purchasing one due to the company's history so far. Personally I would be worried that parts support won't be very good or the company won't survive. When a manufacturer makes promises for 2 years or more and never delivers that should make you think really hard before buying from them. What if that sort of business continues with Avant? $1000 is a lot of money, I can't just go around dropping that kind of chedda on just anything!

Performance wise, I don't think it really matters. Either machine can handle anything you throw at it and we have all seen that proven with either.

If the wings are travelling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter

I can't be of any real help, but this is my opinion... get both! Or get either one and I'm sure you will be happy with your purchase. I have had the N9 for almost 9 months and I absolutely love it. There are a few things I would like changed (like the metal parts being very soft for one). However, with that said you would be hard pressed to find another machine that flys better. I am getting the Aurora as my next 90. Not because I think that it will be any better than the N9 but because I want it. It's as simple as that... fly what you want.

Will CX be able to get a model to you?
Will there be parts?
Will you be the butt of jokes at the field?
Does really it fly better than anything else?
What about the "second release"?Trust me,people will wait for this as well.Unless he fixed the bagging machine
I wanted to get one only to have the best of everything, but after I saw the way things are handled at CX,I'll pass. They're already talking about a 50

I see the SE parts are out.. are they the same parts that are going to be in the SE kit?

I am leaning towards an N9.. When are the SE kits due.. anybody know.

It flies like its on rails?

I want to die like my grandfather - peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like the rest in the car.

Synergy VS Aurora - I Can't Decide!
It's a matter of being able to acquire parts or not. You'll have a easier time finding Synergy parts.
