Hi Gentleman,

I'm having a problem with my Spectra G head speed increasing while hovering. I have changed the fuel clunk to the welbro type and removed the one way valve but the problem persist. I have the none modified Zenoha 231 engine with the v3 muffler. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

hi Terry
i had a similar problem , where i would be hovering fine for a minute or so , and with no other changes the RPM would start to suddenly climb , at first i thought it might be the clutch slipping , but on landing the clutch bell was not hot , long story short , it turned out to be an airleak at the stock plastic intake manifold , the plastic can warp when the engine warms up , i got a Z-RC billet manifold and the problem was cured , HTH , dana

you can get them from Al's

Terry I second what Copperclad said and in addition I would replace the line from the clunk to the carb and then I would check the little screen filter on the carb.

You might want to check if this is consistently happening at or below the same fuel level in the tank.
