Those machines are the best there is. It's always a joy watching them as much as flying them. Enjoy

Just do it.

Very nice flying!

How did you do with the 8717 servo arms 90 degrees thing? Are you using sub-trim? Or are you using some aftermarket horns/arms? Thanks

Yeah the SR just makes some serious torque! The motor was still pretty rich there as I was just breaking it in too, now that I've got it tuned its just ridiculous. The headspeed in those vids was around 1900, it is now 1950 and will pull 14 degrees all day long on the 8.18 gear ratio. I suspect it would pull more if I could get more out of the head. LOL

As for the servo horns, I'm using some heavy duty JR wheels that had a hole right at 20mm, the arms are 90 degrees, no interaction just a tad of subtrim to get the swash perfectly flat.

Will the 91SR fit with the mounting brackets included in the 8.18 kit or do you need to use the YS adapter bracket? I ask because I've got a spare SR which has been sitting around waiting for an Aurora for some time but I've decided against that now. Rather than another N9 I was thinking about the BW Stratus.

Dang!! I can't believe you're running 1950 on that thing. LOL.. I had the same engine with same pipe in my older version stratus and I was really aware to not pull the head speed above 1840 as most of 90's helis pilots recommend, and never even thought of over 11/11 of pitch. How you do that? LOL.. I'm running 8:18 too.. according to my math with 1950 you're rising the SR peak power..

About the HD JR wheels where can I order them? Thanks

Alex Fong.

You won't regret it. I have two and they are the best there is. No need to wait for anything else.

BTW, I run 1950 on mine as well

Just do it.
