JR Heli Vibe - Airskipper - Sylphide - Venture > Vibe 50 control rods length

Hi guys,
I'm in a process of building a new Vibe 50 (140 CCPM) and I have a problem with step 6-4.
If I build the rods with the required dimensions in the manual, rods are too long...
Did I miss something ? Did someone have the same problem ? I did searches on this forum but did not find anything related to that problem.
I need your help !!!

I don't have the manual infront of me but if they are the ones from the servo to the bell crank, measure from the center of the servo screw, to the center of the bell crank screw, preferably with a caliper, and that is your rod length. Servos have different dimensions so the book lengths are a starting point.

If its a set of rods from the bell crank to the swash or in the head, those lengths are correct so you need to make sure you installed the 140 parts in all the places you are supposed to have.

I have my Vibe with 8717´s and I hade exacty the same problem.

What BarracudaHockey says is totally correct, it depends on what servos U use.

I have a digital caliper and my Vibe sitting on my shop, if you would like I can go measure the link to let you know the required dimension of all of them.

It wont be a problem for me, I can go to say good morning to my Vibe and measure at the same time.

You have them, right there on your helicopter

Thats the way to figure out any pushrod length for the most part.

Here you go!

It can vary a little depending on the position you tighten the servos in butane the servo and frame play but this may help.

The final length of my rods were not exactly the same as the manual, but they weren't that far off, either.

I'd make sure that you had everything set up for 140.

I'd rather be flying

Ok, I did it yesterday evening. Your infos + a digital caliper = great job !
Now, I have to go to my LHS for an engine, main blades and tail blades.
Any suggestions for the blades. On my T-Rex 600 I have TST V-blades. Works great but do not auto as well as the Radix.

Nice!!! I am happy the info worked for you!

About the blades I have a conclusion my self’s, Price and performance: there is no better than Radix!

Hope you finish soon!

Take care!

Radix 600 SB
V-blades

Non of them is good at autos.

If you're more interested in autos:

Radix 600 Standart (142.5gr)
SAB 620mm (134gr)
